After yesterday's thigh high disaster, I thought today was time to break out something a bit more reliable. These stockings from Stocking Showcase did just that.
These are Real Chic name brand stockings and they are of the flat knit RHT variety. The website guaranteed they'd be "smooth and silky" and I am very much inclined to agree. The shade I got was called "Glee" which is advertised as a "nearly nude". I have rather light colored legs, but these stockings, other than their perfectly beautiful shimmer, are pretty close to being invisible on me. But since "nude" is pretty relative, take it for what its worth. The only reason I bought this shade in particular, is because that's what was available in my size. But looking at them now, I think it worked out pretty well.
Much more importantly these stocking feel very nice. Also, along with my purchase, I received a free pair of hosiery gloves, which was great because I hadn't owned any before, but I knew I needed them. They helped prevent my hands from causing any snags as I carefully pulled these stockings on. The stockings felt lovely as they moved up my legs. Now that they're secured into my garter belt, I am enjoying their feel up and down my legs. In addition, they feel pretty sturdy and they stay in place nicely, not always a characteristic of some of the modern stockings. In my opinion, they're a bargain at $13.95. Go get yourself a pair!
