Grazia Middle East: Diane von Furstenberg's Travel Diary

Thursday, November 18, 2010

The latest issue of the fabulous Grazia Middle East makes me wanna move there, dammit - if only to get the weekly, jam-packed issues hot off the press, and to be closer to my beautiful buddy Kezza, Kel, Kez... aka, the talented Kerrie Simon.

So what did the busy editor get to do this week? Why, only hang with the woman behind one of the most famous pieces of clothing...

"When wrap-dress queen Diane von Furstenberg touched down in the Middle East, she cleared her diary to spend some one-on-one time with Grazia, taking in dinner at the famous seven-star Burj Al Arab with editor Kerrie Simon, and showing us around her brand new boutique at Mall of the Emirates (yup, the one with the indoor ski slope).

"Then, with a full schedule ahead, including a day at the Zayed University where she spoke to the female students about empowering women, and a whistle-stop trip to Abu Dhabi for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, she agreed to hand her personal camera over to Grazia, so we could publish her Middle East travel diary."

Jealous? Us?
