Anja Rubik is a Polish model taking the world by storm.
Anja and her family left Poland in 1988 and lived in Greece, Canada, and Umtata, South Africa and was introduced to modeling while attending a British high school in Paris. She began her modeling career soon after graduating from high school and has been featured on the covers of various magazines, including French, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, and German Vogue, Numéro (my fave covers of Anja are the Numéro ones, pictured here), Flair, Russh, Nylon and Elle.
She has modeled for such brands as Givenchy, Chloé, Christian Dior, Hermès, Valentino, Gucci, Gap, Fendi, Missoni, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Oscar de la Renta, Chanel, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, and Ralph Lauren and has also done haute couture for Valentino, Chanel, and Elie Saab. She appeared in editorials for Numéro, i-D, W Magazine, V Magazine, Harpers Bazaar, and Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, German, Spanish, British, French, and Italian Vogue.
She appeared in the 2009 and 2010 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (my fashion parade highlight of the year).
Rubik has even featured in the 2009 fitness video game Yoga Wii for the Wii home console.
Enjoy just some of my fave covers from around the world here.
