Cher appears on the cover of the December 2010 edition of US Vanity Fair and in her interview, she says she sometimes forgets to call her transgender son, Chaz Bono, a man.
"She's a very smart girl... boy!" Cher said during an interview with Vanity Fair. "This is where I get into trouble. My pronouns are [messed up]. I still don't remember to call her 'him.'"
Born as Chastity to Cher and her late ex and singing partner Sonny Bono, Chaz changed his name after undergoing gender-reassignment surgery last year. Chaz is now a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights advocate and writer.
Despite the slip-ups, the sensational looking 66-year-old singer-actress says she is proud of how Chaz has dealt with his sex change. "If I woke up tomorrow in a guy's body, I would just kick and scream and cry and f... rob a bank, because I cannot see myself as anything but who I am - a girl," she said. "I would not take it as well as Chaz has. I couldn't imagine it."
Cher will make her return to the big screen soon alongside Christina Aguilera in Burlesque, set to hit Aussie cinemas late this year.
