Fogal Noblesse

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

Got a chance to dive back into my Fogal tights collection, so we have a quick review for today. This makes the third different type of tights I've tried from Fogal, and I'm definitely impressed. They seem to have a pretty wide product range, as far as leg wear goes, and they do it well.

The Fogal Noblesse tights are among the very basic, so I don't have a ton to say about them. They body of the tights are 100% nylon (except for the gusset which is silk rather than cotton), so they're very light and very fine. If you're looking for a very subtle choice in hosiery so that people will barely notice you're wearing any, this is an excellent choice. Typically they come in a wide variety of colors, which allows you to either enhance your skin tone or subtly add a dose of color to it. Unfortunately, there were only three colors available at the website I found these on, so your options here are somewhat limited.

The tights have a matte finish so, though they are soft and smooth, they provide very minimal shine. Again, perfect if you're going for subtlety. The tights also have an invisible reinforced panty, and toe reinforcement. They're 98% nylon and 2% silk and very sheer at 11 denier. They're available in 4 different sizes. They cost $75 CAD (about $71 USD). If you're looking for a very high quality basic, this is certainly an excellent option.
