So, like I said yesterday, it all comes down to your taste and what you are looking for in nylons. If you're like me, you're probably naturally drawn to sexy looking pantyhose and thigh-his. Wearing lingerie is about feeling sexy and that's what makes the Sexy Little Things nylons collection at Victoria's Secret so attractive. The shininess, the laciness, the back seams all make these nylons extra sexy. There's no question they feel good on too.
Of course, when you start wearing pantyhose and stockings every day, you naturally start to look for something a bit more practical. The Sexy Little Things feel and look great, but they look (and cost) like a special occasion nylon. Certainly, a possible every day type alternative can be found at the local drugstore. At least you won't mind as much when your toe pokes a hole through the foot of them or you put a run in them while pulling them on. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for and they look (and more importantly feel) cheap.
So where do you go for a decent and affordable pair of nylons when you don't want to look like you're about to do a spread for Leg Show magazine? Personally, I think Hue brand is the way to go. I first found out about Hue brand hosiery when shopping in the now-defunct Jasmine Sola stores. By being in this store, they were clearly marketing themselves towards the young, in-style woman. I stopped in one day and bought a couple pairs, and was not disappointed.
These nylons look great and feel nicer than the price suggests they would. They come in all the styles you'd expect (sheer-to-waist, control top, back seam, low rise, lace-top stocking, etc). They are also very reasonably priced and their constant ongoing 2 for $12 promotion encourages bulk purchase. You can stock up on a variety of styles and colors, and can wear nylons every day of the week. And with the reasonable price, a hole doesn't have to mean the end of the world. In fact, it can mean just the opposite....another shopping trip!
