Temptation Thursday: Princess Sauvage by La Perla Studio

Just a quick post today to highlight the latest look from La Perla Studio. The line is called Princess Sauvage and it is a gorgeous combination of lace and sheer stretch tulle. It's a pretty simple line as it only features a few pieces. These pieces include a demi-cup bra and three different kinds of panties, as well as an absolutely breathtaking chemise. As it's La Perla Studio it won't run you quite as much dollars-wise as many of La Perla's product, although it can still be considered a bit of a splurge at prices ranging from $49-$158. But if you're in the mood to treat yourself, this line isn't a bad place to look.

The latest collection from Malizia by La Perla is called the Romance collection. This is quite a coincidence, of course, since I'm in love with every last piece within this collection. The collection is, as is often the case with La Perla, a beautiful blend of tulle and lace. The detail is exquisite.

For La Perla, it's always about design. All of their pieces have tremendous attention to detail and most often feature, delicate laces and sheer tulles. For their Black Label pieces, detail are certainly not what's spared. The difference is on the focus of the details. Delicate lace is set aside for more enticing looks and edgy details. The end result is always pure seduction:

La Perla & Jean Paul Gaultier

La Perla has recently announced that they will be collaborating with designer Jean Paul Gaultier to launch an exclusive "Collection Createur" of lingerie. The collection, due to release in the fall of 2010, hopes to combine La Perla's "absolute femininity" and Gaultier's "distinct creative approach".

We should continue to know more in the upcoming weeks...but here's a quick sneak preview. Consider me intrigued:

It is the perfect combination of nylon and lace, done of course, in bridal white. The latest from La Perla is the Maison Collection. This collection comes in two absolutely gorgeous colors and is done in silk, with plenty of lace details. It looks absolutely gorgeous, and it feels...well its silk...what else is there to say?

Both the grey and rosa colors are quite beautiful, yet in different ways. The set includes a push up bra, a culotte, a thong, and a super sensual looking chemise.

Black Label Venere

I'm (almost) speechless.

The new collection from La Perla Black Label has literally stopped me dead in my tracks. While abundance of lace and attention to detail is certainly nothing new to La Perla, they may, indeed, have outdone themselves this time.

There are few things sexier than the chemise that, to me, headlines the Venere collection, which is the latest from La Perla Black Label. If you're looking for sexiness and seductiveness, it's probably hard to go wrong with sheer black. But even with that being said, this piece kicks the sexiness up at least a couple of notches. It starts with thick straps and molded black cups that have tons of lacy detail. Beyond, that, very little is left to the imagination. It's all sheer, baby.

Save for a couple of seams on either side of the garment, there is nowhere to hide in this piece. Below the cups to just below the hips is as gorgeous as it is simple...nothing but sheer. Finally, the bottom section of the chemise is where you will find some gorgeous lace detail, but still somehow every bit of sheerness as there is above. The piece is finished off with a nicely scalloped bottom that ends around the mid-thigh. It is made with a blend of nylon, rayon, and spandex...and since its made by La Perla, it's sure to somehow feel even better than it looks.

Not to be overlooked, this collection also includes a thong (pictured above), as well as a full cup bra (pictured left) and a culotte thong. While its almost always hard to go wrong with anything La Perla, even they have few things that are quite as right as this...
