You might remember a week ago, my pick from UK Tights to review was the Oroblu Couture Tresor 10 Tights. At the time, I stated that I actually like these tights better than the comparable alternatives from Wolford and Falke, among others, despite the much more reasonable price tag.
This week I'm back to review the 20 denier version of the same tights. This is exciting to me because 20 is usually my denier count of choice because I like the balance of sheerness and durability at that count. In fact, I generally credit the Wolford Individual 20 tights for originally making me into the tights addict that I am now, way back in the day.
The Couture Tresor 20 Tights feel every bit as luxurious as the 10s. The softness and smoothness on the legs are seldom matched and never exceeded by any of the tights I've ever tried...and I've tried a lot, as you know. They also look great on the legs. While less transparent than the 10s, they still remain quite sheer and give off a very subtle shine, as well. These tights are a must-have and will be put to good use as they stand up to any occasion, regardless of how formal or casual it might be. And trust me, you will instantly fall in love with these and want to wear them as much as possible.
These tights have a slightly higher nylon count than the 10 denier. They're actually an 85/15 blend of nylon and lycra. They come in 4 different colors and 5 different sizes, so you're pretty much guaranteed to find your perfect look and fit. Just to review, they're sheer to waist, boxed, have flat seams, cotton gusset and a signature waistband.
I just can't say enough good things about these tights. I wish I could buy a pair for everyone who reads this because I know you'd all instantly fall in love with them. Take it from someone who's tried a lot of tights, few, if any, feel and look this good. They really are a must have.
