Like I said. Not tumblr. So sue me or file this under "blah blah blah" like I do.
I've been addictively reading Barbara Kingsolver books for a couple years now, my most recent conquest being Animal Dreams, and you have to read, or you had to read I suppose since I'm sure you read it before scrolling down to this text, this beautiful excerpt from her exceptional novel.

Every time we made out he had this dopey look on his face.
His face just naturally fell into the same dopey formation.
It was so awkwardly feminine. And when we broke it off I
vowed to find a guy that looked like a man when he kissed me.
